Privacy policy
Effective August 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how JrodCode (“JrodCode,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the parent company of Shout Mailz, collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Shout Mailz service (the “Service”).
1. Who we are
Shout Mailz is a product of JrodCode. JrodCode is the controller of personal data processed to operate accounts, billing, and the application platform. When you upload contact lists or campaign content, you typically act as the controller of that data; we process it as a service provider on your instructions.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hashes, team membership, and verification status.
- Security data: authenticator secrets (encrypted), recovery code hashes, and session information.
- Workspace data: contacts, templates, campaigns, invites, and related settings you store in the Service.
- Configuration: SMTP and AI settings you provide (credentials stored encrypted where applicable).
- Billing data: subscription status and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers; card details are handled by Stripe.
- Technical data: approximate logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps needed to operate and secure the Service.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users, verify email, and support two-factor authentication
- Process subscriptions and communicate about billing
- Send transactional messages (invites, verification, security notices)
- Detect abuse, enforce Terms of Use, and comply with law
4. Sharing
We share personal data with processors that help us run the Service (for example hosting, email infrastructure you configure, and Stripe for payments), and when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information. JrodCode does not use your campaign contact lists to market unrelated JrodCode products without a separate lawful basis and notice.
5. Retention
We retain account and workspace data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. You may delete eligible owner accounts in Settings; residual copies may persist in backups for a limited time.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted secrets, hashed passwords, CSRF protection, and optional authenticator-app two-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your choices
You can update profile information in Settings, enable or disable two-factor authentication, manage team invites, and delete your account where available. For privacy requests related to Shout Mailz, contact JrodCode at https://jrodcode.com.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. International transfers
If you access the Service from outside the region where our systems are hosted, your information may be processed in other countries with different data-protection laws.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a new version on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or email when appropriate.
